B. Family empowerment

Family empowerment that facilitates child development is the focus of the Stand for Vulnerable Organization (SVO). The strategy is to organize families of beneficiary children into self-help business groups. This helps to train them on saving, employment generation skills, discovery of self-esteem and encouragement to secure livelihood. The skill and knowledge gained from the process motivates them to engage them in income generating activities in a sustainable way that helps them to develop a capacity of sending one’s kid into school.
